These phrases are compared and determined taking into account the extent of their equivalence. Synoptic charts provide the meaning and origin of the Czech and Russian phraseologisms according to specialized phraseological and etymological dictionaries. The extent of equivalence of particular phraseologisms is defined in these charts. The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare Russian and Czech phraseologisms mainly from their content and formal points of view, and find out the extent of their equivalence. Analýza vnitrodruhové proměnlivosti jasanu ve vztahu k jeho chřadnutí
Bohdálek, Michal
Population of common (Fraxinus excelsior L.) and narrow-leaved ash (Fraxinus angustifolia Vahl.) in Europe are currently haunted by the pathogenic fungus Hymenoscyphus fraxineus (T. Kowalski) Baral, Queloz & Hosoya, originating in the Far East. The objective of present study is to analyze whether and how the provenance of reproductive material influences the tolerance of the both ash species against this invasive pathogen. Our study was carried out in the research plot Zámeček near Kroměříž with 16 provenances of common ash from all of the Czech Republic and 2 provenances of narrow-leaved ash from the Morava valley at the age of 22 years. The experiment was established by the Forestry and Game Research Institute in Jíloviště-Strnady. In the field, we measured height and diameter, and assessed the stem quality, bud burst and intensity of infection by H. fraxineus (using a certified methodology) of individual trees and provenances. Then, we analyzed mutual relationships of the growth, morphology, phenology and intensity of infection. It resulted in interesting findings: we found provenances of common ash originating from more northerly localities (higher latitude) less intensively infected by H. fraxineus and flushing later than others. Less infected individuals were higher and had better stem quality at the same time. It is interesting that provenances from warmer sites revealed bigger breast-height diameter.

This study deals with Czech speakers in Australia, focusing on their use of the Czech and English languages as tools of belonging to a community. Its aim is to discuss the situation of Czech speakers on the continent from the perspective of a small Czech language in an English-speaking country. The starting point for the study is scientific publications on bilingualism, multilingualism and transnationalism issued in the Czech and English-speaking environments. Another source is books about the history of the immigration and language policies in Australia and about the Australian identity. Finally, the methods involve field research based on participant observation of groups of Czechs in social networks and during Czech church services in Sydney in November 2015. Fieldwork is also based on semi-structured interviews which took place in Australia between August 2014 and January 2016. They were intended to study the reality of Czech speakers in Australia and to illustrate the theories on the use of language by bilingual speakers in the Australian context. Colonisation of islands by the insectivorous mammals
Matějů, Petr ; Černá Bolfíková, Barbora (advisor) ; Kristýna, Kristýna (referee)
Biological invasions are a serious problem worldwide. Besides the natural colonizations mediated by tectonic movements or formation of a land bridge connection, there are also the artificial ones. Humans can deliberately or undeliberately translocate species across ecosystems. Recently, mainly because of the buisness and tourism there is a dramatical increase in human-mediated biological invasions. Many authors, who discussed invasions in the past, were focused on rodents. Despite its severe impact on the ecosystems the topic of insectivorous mammals remains relatively untouched by scientists so far. Practical part of this thesis is focused on the Northern white-breasted hedgehog (Erinaceus roumanicus) and his dispersal in the Mediterranean area. Mitochondrial control region sequences of 28 samples were analyzed and compared to already published data from GenBank. Discussion was made through phylogenetical analysis. Main topics of discussion were focused on a possible contemporaneity and a course of transfer of the gene flow. Most of the samples showed haplotype similarity with individuals occupying the closest mainland. On the other hand samples from Skyros did not go with the trend. They matched with haplotype from Crete.
The analysis of some reproduction parameters of cheetahs (Acinonyx jubatus) kept in world's zoos.
Makulová, Laura ; Kracíková, Olga (advisor) ; Jan, Jan (referee)
This work is focused on the breeding of cheetahs Acinonyx jubatus bred in captivity. The first part is divided into two main sections and is processed using the available scientific literature. The first section describes the history and current status of taxonomic classification of individual species and subspecies of the genus Acinonyx. The second section deals with general biology of the species - characteristics, habitat, food in the wild, extending the route of exposure, morphology of the reproductive system. Separate chapters are devoted to the problems of rearing animals in breeding facilities - food cheetahs areas for breeding, a special section discusses the issues of reproduction in captivity. In the practical part, an analysis of data from the International studbook Acinonyx jubatus 2013, focusing on the reproductive success of males and females according to their origin and age. Data was transferred to MS Excel and main observed characteristics presented in the form of graphs. The resulting data were statistically analyzed.
